I don't think its wise to mess with the default router settings. Configuring the DNS settings in the connections should work. But if you really want to do it.

1. Open the web browser
2. Enter IP of your router in the address of the browser
( default ip address is 192.168.1.1 ) and click Enter.
3. Enter your username and password on the prompt box ( default username and password is "admin" ) and click OK.
4. On the page you get now Click the Advanced Setup link near the left side of the page.
5. In the menu that you get now click DNS.
6. Untick the box which says: Enable Automatic Assigned DNS.
7. Type 208.67.222.222 in the Primary DNS server box and 208.67.220.220 in the Secondary DNS server box.
8. Click the save button and the Advanced Setup button on the left side.
9. Click the Save/Reboot button.
10. Wait for the modem to restart and your done.

Hope this helps!
