I get 180~210 kBps in torrents (private trackers) and 220~240 kBps for direct http downloads (rapidshare premium). For public trackers i get 80~160 kBps.

More than 5GB can be easily downloaded at these speeds, i can even post my usage screen shot for more proof.

What kind of abuse comes into play when we download during the free time? U mean abusing the network? Or u mean some hardware problems may arise?

downloading so much can mess up ur pc.what about all the junk which needs regular cleaning.many softwares dont remove the entire junk.downloading a lot leaves a lot of internet trace in ur pc.

^^ There are softwares like Revo Uninstaller and Your Uninstaller pro, which removes all the so-called junk from the PC while softwares are uninstalled. Internet Traces can also be removed using CCleaner.

    mine doesn't,
my disconnection time in both the records are all the same, I check it everyday.
    I have 8 disconnection scheduled in my PC ;
    3 disconnections starting from 2:00:00-AM
and 5 disconnections starting from 7:56:30-AM
each one shows the same time in BSNL download record too.

Check your computer time here also.

Current local time in India – Maharashtra – Mumbai

Log in : Usage portal ( probably self care portal in your case )
see whether log in time is shown.
Adjust computer clock! ( minus 1 minute )
Safe MODE : ( manually or by auto schedulers)
Switch off modem at 0155 AM
Switch on modem at 0205 AM
Switch off modem at 0755 AM
Switch on modem at 0805 AM.

BSNL Portal splits readings at 02AM and at 08AM automatically.
