    Question what is this DSL SERVER?

    followin are the basic questions about DSL Server:->

    Q1. DSL Server- what's the use?
    Q2. What is PPPoE Set up?
    Q3. VCI & VPI Values? why are they required to be filled ? where from can we
    get the values to be entered At DSL Server?
    Q4. Which Ipaddress has to be forwarde at this DSL Server?? LAN based or net
    based?


    Can anybody reading this , Tell about some link (or e-book to read on) to get knowledge related to different Pseudocodes(like for me) used at this DSL Server SIte?????
    HELP....

    HELP....

    ans1.) DSL(Digital Subscriber Line) server the use is with this technology the speed is Insane and it is much better in terms of performance and other features

    Ans2.) PPPoE(Point to Point Protocol over Ethernet) in this mode or setup you dont have to anything as the modem will dial your username password and will establish the internet connection which means as soon as you turn on your pc/laptop you are connected to internet, keeping in mind that the modem is on.

    Ans3.) dont know about this much

    Ans4.) You have to forward your ports if you are using any P2P downloading/uploading in which you have to allow your ports to communicate with others

    DSL
    has two meaning
    1-digital subs line
    2-dedicated server line

    i hope u got the meaning from the full form
