| Pingu Mod | just call or visit your exchange and ask them about the speed which you can gain on your line coz as i can see in your connection status the line sync rate is 1990 only. and apart from that if you are already getting 1990kbps then dont worry about anything as there is not a big difference between 1990 and 2048 (infact you will not be able to feel any difference while browsing online) but still if you are worried about this then would like to tell you that there are lot many reasons which can affect speed like distance from exchange line condition equipment connected on phone line

| Pingu Mod | 2Mbps is not possible like that as it is like the max speed it may go upto.. just look again on your plan it says upto 2Mbps this is just because 2mbps or any stable speed is really not possible on DSL lines... |

If you are getting more than 180 kBps in torrents and IDM then you should be satisfied. People assume that they will get 2 mbps - that is the max speed and not the assured speed. Note that the speed is promised within user to BSNL DSLAM only, i.e., within BSNL network only.

Rep Power: 0 | You'll never get the exact speed as the packages indicate. It is always slower. Downloadspeed is always /8, so that has to be 2048/8= 256kb/s. |
