Thread: Anybody know abt Download speed in BSNL broadband?

i am going to connect with bsnl brodband with 512 kbp/s unlimited plan some day.is it also so called "UPTO 2 MBP/S"? and what will be the download speed in direct link and in torrents? Can anybody let me know that?

no unlimited plan is upto 2mbps from bsnl.512kbps plan will give you ~60KBps speed.

So in UR opinion which is the best home plan of BSNL to get a good download speed like abt 128-200kbp/s?

the 500 plan of bsnl definitely provides these much of download speeds...
However it has free downloading only from 2am to 8am....U have to compromise with it

And in 500 plan what is the download limit without the free hours?

It is 2.5 gB..however there is also a combo plan where the limit is 1.5 gb,but in it you don't have to pay extra monthly rentals for your landline,in addition u also get 175 free calls..anything above 1.5gb will cost u Rs 0.80 per mB

What is the combo plan?let me knw abt it.and in Home 500,what is the charge of extra dwnload?
