hi can any one pleases tell me that how to change ZTE ZXDSL 831AII modem modes to ADSL2 or G.DMT.


my modem overview is

Downstream Line Rate 2045 kbps
Upstream Line Rate 508 kbps
LAN IP Address 192.168.1.1
Default Gateway not currently set
Primary DNS Server not currently set
Secondary DNS Server not currently set
Operational Mode G.Dmt.BisPlus
Local SNRMargin 29.0 dB
Local Line Attn 23.0 dB
Remote Line Attn 12.0 dB
Remote SNRMargin 25.0 dB
Line Mode ADSL2

is this status of my modem fine or something wrong with modem or line.

The option will be somewhere in the 'Advanced' menu. I do not have this modem but you will need to go thru many menus to find it.

It is also quite possible that BSNL may have suppressed this option in your firmware.

if everything is working fine then no need to change mode now.
