Default Help me on the modem selection!!

Iam currently using SmartAX MT 841 modem (750 Ul + plan).

The link lamp in the modem goes off for 10-15 sec for every 10-15 minutes.
During that 10-15 sec iam not able to browse.

The telephone line is clear. There are no parallel lines.

Other times when the link lamp is glowing, the broadband speed are as expected.

I thought of changing the modem.
Kindly help me on what modem to use instead of SmartAX MT 841?
Also how much will it cost & can i purchase it online?

first of all it may be possible that problem is with the line & in that case another modem won't help.in your modem settings in overview/status tab etc look for SNR values.if any SNR value is below 10 then problem is with the line.get your line checked by BSNL then.

Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

Change to G.Dmt if ADSL2+ is not working.

Golden rule (especially for novices) - never try to fix something that is not broken.

Check in the status page. The status page may have many options/menus. Check all.
