Rep Power: 0 | Hi I am having a problem getting the Laptop wireless connected through DataOne. I am having Windows Vista Basic as the OS. I am able to get connected through the LAN Cable. However when I try through the wireless it shows as connected but also gives the message as UnIdentified Network. I am using a WA3002-g1 modem. I am having no problems with a Laptop which has Windows XP. Tried calling the BSNL Broadband helpline with this issue and was told that they will call me back, but so far no help. Appreciate if anyone can help. Regards Nayan Kamat |

Rep Power: 12 | Start/run/ type cmd type ip config/all in both computers ( Having Xp and Vista ) compare. One suggestion is to disable IPV6 in Vista TCP/IP properties. |

| Aditya | there is nothing to worry about this you just need to go to network and sharing center after this you can click on your network.. where it will provide you 2 options home or work.. you just need to click on network your own choice and thats it.. after that it will not give you that message again check it and update please |

Rep Power: 0 | Thanks All for giving possible solutions. The problem got rectified after I reconfigured the network by giving a different SID which was advised by the BSNL helpdesk. Though BSNL did not call back as promised, they helped resolve the issue when I persistantly called them. Regards Nayan |
