Dear Just4,
With due respect, i want to ask that you are giving link for this most easy config for g4 modem. Have you tried this or just copy and pasting this link wherever you find g4 modem problem.
Please understand the problem first and then answer, dont answer for the sake of answering.
I am unable to connect multiple PCs by this link. Ours modem is set in bridge mode and cannot connect in ppoe mode.
If you really has a solution, then please only answer. otherwise, lets other try. Dont give readymade answers.
Regards,
EHSAANFARAMOSH!!!!
First of all Just4kix is trying to help you and you are saying that dont give me readymade answers f#$% atleast you could ave said thanks for the guide but this didnt help me instead of insulting him did u understand or not
now coming to your problem to set up your modem into PPPoE mode do the following
1.) open your browser and type 192.168.1.1 and enter the username and password as admin
2.) Go to WAN and edit the first connection stating something like vci/vpi 0-35 bridge 0_35
3.) Now when you edit the connection follow the onscreen instructions and enter VCI and VPI values as 0 and 35 respectively and then click next
4.) After that select PPPoE mode and encapsulation as LLC/SNAP and click next
5.) When you will click next you will have to enter your broadband username and password through which you connect to the internet there only and click next
6.) After clicking next enter service name as pppoe_0_35, click ext and save & reboot the router
After the modem has been rebooted make sure you have deleted the dialer throug which you were connecting before and you are done you will be conneted automatically to the internet
I am flabbergasted!!!
@sonu, I gave you the link because I know that setting posted there should work. Have you even tried to look at the "Broadband How To" section? I have posted many guides out there. You need to understand the concepts first because otherwise you may mess up your settings.

Hi Just4, player, and renishkm
Sorry for my post, but it was written in utter frustration. I tried everything given in all the links, but nothing worked for me.
I have lost all hope, but then yesterday, i found Ozdesi post regarding this and you know, it worked in the first try. It was easy to undertand and explained in a nice manner.
Thanks once again to Just4 for all the help. In future, if I need help I will come back.
