Thread: Outlook 2003 with BSNL BB (Datone)

Hi,

I am new to India Broadband Forum.

Anyway, my concern is related to making MS Outlook 2003 SP2 work properly with BSNL BB (DataOne) service, i,e to successfully to send out mails. FYI, mails get downloaded (from a POP3) account peacefully, though.

I am sure almost 99% of the BSNL BB subscribers must be facing this issue.

I was told that by changing the Outgoing (SMTP) port from 25 to 26 works, it doesn't....

Any help is welcome and very badly required...

Really hoping to get some help in this regard form more technically proficient friends in the forum…

I recommend u to create a Gmail Account, Goto ur gmail settings "Forwording and POP" option, enable the POP option for all mails, then click Save changes.

u must need to update Outlook 2003 by
downloading the latest updates from Microsoft.
