    Default Maximizing Night Usage.

This is to help BSNL BroadBand users having the night Unlimited plan, however, if feasible, other ISP users can also us this method.

    Steps

    1) Around 10 pm, I switch on my modem, it connects via bridge mode, also known as Dial-up.

    2) Torrent software like BitTorrent, uTorrent, BitComet etc are started along with any peer to peer networking software.

    3) I use a software called Wake Up on-StandBy. It can schedule my laptop to start at any particular time and also enables me to shutdown, hibernate or keep my laptop on sleep mode. I set the wake up time as 2.10am, for the next day and set the hibernate mode at the time 7.55am.

    4) Sleep your laptop or pc, or you can hibernate it. But do not shut it down. Now, after the PC/laptop is in hibernate/sleep mode, connect the modem to the laptop/pc ,that is, connect the RJ-45 wire to the port.

Keep the modem and the PC/laptop plugged in.

Result>> Your Laptop/Pc will start from hibernate mode and since you have opened all your Torrent and P2P software, it will try to connect to the internet .

Note: If your modem connects via PPPoe mode, it connect automatically to the Internet, as soon as the PC/Laptop starts.

P.S- Your ports must be forwarded, in order to use your Bandwidth to the maximum.

If possible, Please post your daily Routines here, this is in order to help New and existing users use their Broadband Line to the fullest.

Post your replies here, if you want additional info about the software which I use to monitor my Night downloads.

    Nice method.

But you do not require a wake up software. No harm in having it but Windows scheduler can as well do the task.

Refer to my tutorial also: Automatic rebooting of router at 2 AM and 8 AM

I know, but, with just a simple interface and two mouse clicks away, I can configure my Laptop easily along with giving me option to start additional programs with params.
