Where can i get free Free Broadband

There is no such thing as free broadband atleast here in India... Not just broadband... nothing is for free.

They will make money from the phone calls wont they? Its still not free then is it?

Thats a point, when someone mentions free the money comes from another way and in this case it will be form the phone calls.

Anyways with that speed (2/5kbps)you may have to go in for hair implants ......you r def going to pull a few from your head....

Our Indian consumers are willing to shell out huge amount for a decent connection .....we just need an ISP who does his job well....BSNL should work on that ...

of course nothing is for free, just pick the cheapest one.

UK and US are launching ADSL2+ tech where you can get speed between 16-24Mbps. British Telecom launching 21CN (21 Century Network) which can provide speed between 20-24 Mbps and don't know whats wrong with India.
In UK Tiscali (ISP) and Talk Talk (ISP) are offering plans as low as £4 and that is too with wireless router and 2Mbps line and now just think about this 2//5kbps :sad:

Organizations and companies exist to make a profit and not philanthropy. Telephony requires a lot of infrastructure and it costs money. Why would anyone incur costs and provide free services. Can such an organization last in the commercial world?

There are no free lunches.
