    Default Billing Issue...

    Hi Guys,
I have applied for Home 500 plan. In Portal, my order type is showing 'Home 1000' and 'Provisioned'. I called the BSNL CC, they told me to contact the local exchange. I contacted the exchange, they show me that in there system, it is 'Home 500'. Now I got the bill for 1100 (for 20 days, I didn't get my bill, I knew about the amount after calling BFone Help Line 1500, so don't know how much I have to pay for BB and how much for BFone).
Now will anyone please tell me the procedure to correct it? (I'm getting horrible feelings just thinking that I have to run after BSNL guys to correct it )
Also mine due date is over, shall I have to pay any extra amount?

    Thanks in advance...

    Hi ppl,
I am facing problems with billing of my Home 500C+ dataone connection. Initially BSNL charged for telephone line charges @180 per month in first bill. And then in second bill, I got outstanding Rs. 5000 for 4.5 months. After correction they send a new bill in which landline charges has been waived but there are few unclear charges like:

    ARDR Installment 200 (refundable)
    NPC Installment 100 (non refundable)

I got the info that these installments will complete in 5 bills with total 1000 as ARDR and 500 as NPC. Can somebedy tell what these charges are about?

    Thanks.

Yesterday I got my duplicate bill. For first month they have charge me the security deposit for modem (500), BB installation charge (250), BB charge, modem rent.

For my utter surprise, they haven't charge me for landline. I think will get later on accumulated.

No. Landline rent is waived off for Home 500 C+ plan. So enjoy.

Sounds cool. Is it applicable to 'Home 500' plan also? Mine is 'Home 500' plan, not 'Home 500 c' or 'Home 500 c+'.

Landline rent waiver is applicable to Home 500 C, Home 500 C+, UL750+ and UL1350+ only. All other plans, your voice plan charges are same as before.

Hence you are advised to shift to the combo plan.

    12 months - 12 bills. So 1-Jan to 31-Jan, 1-Feb to 28/29-Feb, and so on.

For your connection that got active on 16-Sep, you will have prorated charges for 15 days, i.e. 16-Sep to 30-Sep. Your charges will be prorated and also your usage limit. So be careful for the first month.

    @saprathip.
For month of Sept Day Usage allowed 50% only. and rental also 50%. Example Home 250 ( 1 GB full month) only 512MB no free night usage.
If you are on U/L plan no problem.
Also get 14 digit portalID and password from Exchange to check usage at bsnl portal.

U would be charged as follows
For 1-4 : as per your earlier Voice Rental Plan
    For 5-31: As per 500C+
    Rent 600/31*27 = 523
    Free Calls 60/31*27 = 52
    Free Data 2.5/31*27 Gb = 2.177 Gb
    Charged Data (2.432-2.177)*1024*80p = 209
Total BB charge 523+209 = 632 (voice rental upto 4 and call charges beyond free calls extra)
    Service tax 10%
