Speeds Are very low in the Night ppl....... Bsnl is purposely doing it To Discourage Customers or Becoz Of Too many downloaders am not Able to Judge & Somebody to throw light on limewire downloads as i use it for Downloading programs & i feel They are good sometimes From 2am to 7.35am Speed is in range of 30-55 kbps after 7.30 speed rises drastically To 170-220 kbps am amazed at this discovery Sounds Crazy but true..........lol

See the thing is that there must be a lot of traffic at the night time and also speed depends on how far you are living from your local exchange, also make sure there are good no. of seeds then only you will get speeds

Well, I never saw my speeds fall, they are 200+ kB/s, always!! But I do face connection loss sometimes, which is very annoying.

It might be due to network congestion but there still shouldnt be so much of a difference... I smell a rat there ...

    208.67.220.220

Open DNS will make no difference for torrents.

if you are talking about torrents

many sites like piratebay, torrentz, etc have been purposefully suspended as it violates international law

    their trackers has been down

so other torrent downloaders get high speed whereas those who use torrents from these torrents get low speed

Hey player..?Is it true that,,the distance from local exchange will affect our speed..?
And if its..sharing from a type 2 modem with cable will also depend upon distance.. whats the optimum distance..?

Distance from local exchange does affect your speed as wen the distance is more there are more chances ofline breakages and breakages may b mended by joining copper wires externally

this results in reduction of speed
