Thread: Plz tell how to speed up bsnl ul750 plus!

Hello!I am using bsnl 750 plus.Its tooooooooooo slow can anyone tell how to increase its speed.I am downloading torrents at the speed only 25 to 30kbps.It hardly goes on 30 else it remains 28 or 27.Please tell me how to increase it.

@theplayer, UL750 plans means 256 kbps or 32 KB/s max speed. You are getting the speed as per plan.

If you wish to have more speed you can do one of the following:

a) Change to one of Home 500 Combo plans. You will get speed upto 2 mbps (256 KB/s) max but usage is limited (1.5 GB and 2.5 GB for the two plans). But be sure to download during 2 AM to 8 AM free window only; else you will get high usage bills.
b) Switch to UL1350 plan that gives 512 kbps (64 KB/s) umlimited usage.

What is it that you can't do? Switch to other plans that I mentioned? If yes, why not?

Or is it the 2 AM to 8 AM window that bothers you? We have some excellents posts on that in the "Broadband How To" section.

There's only one way to get your speed increased which is to change the plan

As far as i know just4kix uses Home 500 C+ plan

Ah, just as i suspected.

I use Home 500 C plan (not the plus). But I may soon shift to UL1350+.
