Thread: internet on laptop

anybody to help me clear my doubts on this?i mean ,internet on laptop. Want to know about BSNL cards etc.Are they too costly?How is the service?Can you get continuous connectivity?Is it worth taking?

I believe it will be better than GPRS .Please tell me somebody?

Reliance data card or Tata Indicom data card is a better option. You can also get a USB modem which is even better. But speed is slow @ 144 kbps or 16 KB/s and usage is also limited.

Such data card is useful for casual surfing and emails only. Downloads are big no-no.

you will not get good speed for download and its is really very expensive idea for downloading purpose

do you travel a lot with your laptop.. if so then the above suggestions of a data card is the best.. if you have your laptop at home or work most of the time.. then at home you could get a bsnl dataone connection and connect it to a wifi router..
