Don't know, never tried it. I never had any problem with Zone Alarm. Don't forget to put it in stealth mode after installing.

Kaspersky is the second best Antivirus software and Zone Alarm is the Best Firewall software.

Go to the firewall option and there is a bar for internet security if you set it at high it will show status as stealth mode.

I mean this one. Pull the slider to High and that will activate Stealth mode.

I use ZoneAlarm version:7.0. I didn't know there was a free version 8.0. Are you using the free version of the program ?

This is the screen shot of the professional version. Is your setting something similar.

You might want to set it to medium when downloading a torrent.

& just to add some information kaspersky's built in firewall is good enough & is better than zonealarm free version(not pro)in my opinion.free versions are always weaker compared to pro versions of any firewall.

if you are using za the you should be aware of the internal system processes, because it will pop up alerts every second so if you dont know these things then then there is no point in using it, there is a auto learn mode which gives less pop up but it will block a lot of programs tooo

Zone Alarm does show a pop up like this when an application try to connect to internet.

But you can select the 'Remember this setting' and click Allow or Deny.

    Just give it a try.
