    Default HELP configure Smoothwall in Bridge Mode

    I have installed a linux based Open source web based firewall i.e. Smoothwall and i want the internet to go through this firewall. I have installed it and configured it. This requires the ISP to be set in Bridge Mode which i have done..and its working as i dialed in windows using dialer and it connected! now i want the smoothwall to connect to BSNL and there are a number of settings that i dont understand.
    I am unable to paste a screenshot as it dont allow to paste URL here. so i try to explain what settings i dont uderstand.
    1. It requires an Interface where I select PPPoE.
    2. It requires a NUMBER to connect
    3. Service name : i give PPPoE
    4. Concentrator name : PPPoE
    5. Method name : PAP or CHAP, Standard login script, Demon login script, Other login script
    6. Script name :

    Plz have a look at it and suggest me the needful settings plz.. its very important.

    not many users use a linux based Open source web based firewall.try at the smoothwall forums & you should be able to get the answer.if still no luck then my suggestion is use a much more recognized/supported firewall like comodo pro(which is also free) & is one of the best firewall available today.
    Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
    Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.

    thanks for the suggestion. i will try Comodo. But just one question plz... does it support more than 10 clients? b'cause i have to manage over 100 systems through the firewall.

    i am not sure but to manage 100 computers through firewall you must install the firewall on a central server through which rest of the computer connects to net.for over a 100 systems network level firewalls are good but best solution is to use a LINUX PC with correctly configured IP tables.for such a big network i think you should consult some professional network security counsulting firm.
