Rep Power: 0  |  Which Wireless connection would be better.. Hi everybody.. I wanna have Wireless broadband connection to my computer. Which service provider will be better interms of reliability,customer care,promptness... Also what could be the cost per month?? Incase of boadband connection, which service provider will b best nd what will be the cost/month?? I am staying in Hyderabad... Do reply me soon...Thanks... |

| Platinum Member  |  Who is the best? No definite affirmative answer. It all depends upon the locality. 1. BSNL: Generally acknowledged as the best of the lot because their plans are real value for money. But customer care sucks. It is OK in Tier 1/2 cities but nearly dead for small towns and fringe areas. 2. Airtel: Reputed to have robust connections, good speeds and good customer care. But their billing sucks. They have best presence in Delhi and NCR. They have good plans but not as cheap as BSNL. 3. MTNL: Option for Mumbai and Delhi only. Not as good as Airtel. Consider this if Airtel is not available in your area. 4. Tata Indicom and Reliance Broadnet: Can be considered if there is absolutely no option. 5. Cable ISPs such as YOU BB, Sify, Hathway, etc.: Better to have no internet that sign up with these people. 6. Wimax: Provided by Reliance and Tata Indicom in some cities. Stay away. BSNL provides Wimax in form of EVDO which is quite good but it is available in small towns and fringe areas only. In such areas it is better to go with BSNL EVDO than BSNL dataone.
