    Question BSNL Broadband download speed !

    Hi everyone.. I am looking further to get a BSNL broadband 1MBPS connection. I want to have a very good downloading speed..now i have HathWay 256KBPS connected at my home. I was told that i will get a good speed, but now i am downloading at meager 5-6kbps..
    Can you please let me know..at max how much downloading speed wil i actually get from BSNL.
    I am staying in Kothrud area in Pune.

    BSNL has various plan...

    500 C Plan: Upto 2 Mbps - Download speed around 180~200 kbps
    750 UL + Plan: Upto 256 Kbps - Download speed around 25~35 kbps
    1350 UL+ PLan: Upto 512 Kbps - Download speed around 50~60 kbps

    thanks for your reply..now after getting this info the real battle begins..i dont have a bsnl landline at my home. So i need to apply for one.. anyways lets see when do i get it running at my home !

    Some correction - all thos download speed you mentioned are KBps and not kbps.

    I have heard that BSNL is not allocating new telephone connections till CYG event is over. But you may be lucky.

    well my choice is no doubt 500c+
    u ll get
    2.5 g free
    total rent including tel = 600
    spd in day = above 200 KB/sc
    in NU(2-8 AM) = if u dont a lot of server load, then between 150-220

    yea.. 500c is a good plan..
