What i ask is, can i use this modem and a network switch to share the internet to my PCs or i must go for another broadband router. Would that be safe against attacks using this modem/router?.. Does this modem/router provides firewall protection?... |

Rep Power: 5 | yes mate.. you could connect a hub or switch to the router and share internet to all 3 pcs.. just ensure that you are on ppoe mode..i.e. internet works as soon as you switch on modem. no dialing required.. follow this for ppoe mode UT-300R2U ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION step 3 to 8 |
