Question BSNL WLL User! My connection is getting disconneted automatically! what to do

    Hi!
I am using BSNL WLL High Speed Internet. My connection is dial-up. After connecting, the connection is getting automatically disconnected. I get a error message as "Error, There is a hardware or device failure in your modem". This is happening frequently sometimes. How to avoid this!

I also want to know whether is service has unlimited download?

Welcome to official Website of BSNL Assam Telecom Circle
You should be using the USBmodem supplied by BSNL.
Download the proper drivers ( check your make) to say C:/wll BSNL
Then connect the USB device and restart computer.
    Let Windows detect new Hardware.
    Follow procedure to install drivers.
Down load User manual also from same site.
As the WLL Phone Internet service is not well known cannot answer
"off hand" about "unlimited download". could be for 144 Kbps connection. .
Confirm you can connect to Internet and surf. Give feedback.

problem may be related to some malfunction in phone's modem.check that phone is working fine.

you are right @just4kix,essbebe is very active at another forum & frankly speaking he has a lot more experience in solving other people's problem related to broadband.i especially liked essbebe's post format.all suggestions neatly described in a point wise manner with appropriate links just like a power point slide/flowchart.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

    @just4kix @whitestar_999
    Thanks for the compliments.
I am still a learner ! and like to participate/check different forum/s for solutions.
and suggest the solution/s. But, ,does not translate into REP points ! ( ( which does not matter, as I would carry on, with no reputation point too !)
    2. Will wait for feedback from @sooryamaniraj.
