    Hi, apologies for late response..
In the Regedit, am not able to find either SpeedTouch or VCI/VPI(I have scanned the regedit). Am attaching the screen shot.

In Registry check under AOL or Broadcom

    2. Or in modem ( shot No 11 now 0 and 38 go back )
VPI/VCI entries to shot no 7
select new one 0 and 35 for BSNL>
    3. Till you get vpi/vci as 0 and 35 no chance of connecting to BSNL.

Just make sure that the VPI/VCI values are 0-35. Configure your modem in PPPoE mode and store ID and password in the modem.

    Default Finally Found The Fix

So, Ive been searching for the entire day. I have finally found how to use the Thomson TG585 v7 in India. So these are the steps for everyone to follow:

    1) Download the firmware upgrader from this link :
    h t t p://bobpullen.net/585v7_setup.zip - Remove spaces

    2) Extract the Folder to C: Drive

    3) Download the Firmware file from this link :
    h t t p://download.modem-help.co.uk/mfcs-A/Alcatel/Modems/TG585/v7/Firmware/r8-2-6/Generic/]Modem-Help: mfcs_A/Alcatel/Modems/TG585/v7/Firmware/r8.2.6/Generic Contents[/url]

    4) Open and extract ZZ5YAA8.265.bli to C:\TGUPG_ZYW47.200\Builds

    5) Run Setup.exe and upgrade the firmware

and now you can set the vci/vpi as 0/35 and it will work.

    YEEYYY!!!

    Technicolor ST2030

The Thomson ST 2030 is a VoIP phone that is SIP/MGCP compliant and can be used with any SIP compliant PBX, Softswitch or IP Centrex solutions of the market. It addresses the need for a cost effective IP solution, helping to make VoIP a viable, attractive option for small or large offices environment.

You need this for Office/Business use or Personal use ?

I use a normal ADSl modem +OOMA or Vonage Module + any PHONE.
    for Home use.

    Default Airtel Vs. Reliance

I have airtel 2 Mbps & Reliance 4 Mbps both unlimited at the same time facing lots of problems with reliance i have bought it just 15 days back.
on other hand airtel is best till now for me.

Usually i play online games on Europe servers. Ping for both connection are same Its 170 to 220 (Which High) For Asian servers it has different ping

    Reliance 50-70 (connection unstable)
Airtel 90-100 (U can play like 4 to 5 days continuous)

Although reliance has good connectivity but terrible service (Launched 7 complaints till now still no solution) I am going to stick with Airtel.

For 4 mbps connection(Reliance) I should receive 400 to 500 KB/sec download speed it gives only 50 to 70 sometime 10 KB/sec (For single download) where Airtel gives 200 to 240.

    Ping
    Reliance 8/10
    Airtel 5/10

    Connectivity (disconnection)
    Reliance 5/10
    Airtel 10/10

    Download speed
Reliance 0/10 (don't miss judge me its really that bad)
    Airtel 8/10

    Customer care
    Reliance OK

    Airtel Good
