    ok not a prob mate
first open internet explorer and go to address speedtouch.lan

on that page you need to first click on Broadband connection and under that go for Internet Services now click View More.

it will provide you space to enter your username and password, press connect button after you enter info there.

otherwise you can go for other option Setup on same screen which is under Speedtouch (on left hand side panel)

Did you download the user manual ?
[s]Post screen shot Device Status of the modem for reference
and the WAN page where you enter ID password etc.[/s] deleted.
    Not needed.

or selected dialer mode "bridged" or PPPoA/PPPoE etc.

    And diagnostic report if any.

I have to see the manual again .
Problem is in getting VPI VCi 0 and 35.
also WIFI channel 6 or 11 ASIA to be selected.

In final screen shots enter dns as 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222
    save.

    Now forget Thomson wifi router.

    Strt Network /Show available connections
Do you see any wireless network present ?

    If not
    Start/Network /WLAN Properties
    TCP/Ip
    obtain Ip address automatically.
    enter dns as given above.
    Apply Save.

Take laptop to friend's house with WIFI>
    does his network appear ?

will study the S/S and will suggest action.
    tomorrow.

Good effort taken to post all screen shots. Thank you.
AS i said earlier, no S/S available in Manual.
    and unusual settings page/s

Does not appear to be a "breeze" to set up this modem
    in India!!!

    1. Please clarify. Are you now able to connect to BSNL Internet connection in WIFI mode ?

    2. could you enter vpi vci 0 and 35 ?

    3.
seems this modem has additional program to "LOCK" to a particular ISP.
which has to be "unlocked " with fresh international Firmware.
    or

    4. Registry entries have to be modified to change VPI/VCI. Can be tried.
    details noted , if needed

Probably removed at the request of an ISP, who doesn't want anyone unlocking their modem / router.

    Hi, answers to your queries:

    1. No, am not able to connect to internet( I could connect to the modem only).
    2. No
3,4,5: I bought this modem as a package along with AOL broadband in UK. I have a setup CD provided by AOL and it doesn't help to configure here in India.

    Please advise.
