    1. Reconnect everything....else
    2. Check your Lan cable... It might be damaged... else
    3. Take ur land card, lan cable and modem/router to your nearest vendor to get them checked...

(Assuming that u don't have a wi-fi adapter in ur PC)...

    hello friend,
bsnl braodband service is fairly good enough,i am using it for last 6 month,i didn't find any difficulty.

    Always post the modem/router model.
    When this happens,
    Start/network/Local Area connections /status. repair/ support.
Probably you are not connected to internet.
Or in the modem's diagnostics page check the report.
confirm how you connect "dialup" mode or "alwayson"

Did U check your lan cable? Some-times there isn't any apparent damage in cable... but the clips on either end can be defective... Check it in 2 different machines or with ur vendor...

Progress! at least your /Hand/ fingers won't ache!

Have you enabled your ethernet card ? see it is fixed properly in the PCI slot.
    Post ipconfig/all.
    see my previous post also

I think you should check the power chord. If its perfect you should contact the service engineer of BSNL for more inquiries.
