Thread: EVDO - My Stats

As of now BSNL has launched its EVDO facility in these 4 states- Gujarat, Maharastra, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgrah, alongwith roaming effective 1st July. They say that full coverage is available there and right now i'm using it in Gujarat Mehsana infact with download speeds ranging from 50kBs to 250kBs and upload speeds from 10kBs to 50kBs. The good thing? Its UNLIMITED!


What did it cost me?

ZTE EV-DO USB Modem - Rs 4200 /- inclusive of activation charges

Plan - Rs 700 /- pm UNLIMITED

Wonderful! I'm just loving it!

So what are your speeds?

In ahmedabad charge is 550 Rs/Month + Service Tax = 607 Rs/Month. Speed is 100 KB/s since i am getting only two towers. But still not bad.

My download speed is 10kbps to 15kbps. With dap its reaches up to 50kbps for very short tym, :46:

Try using the extension cable it worked for me.And also try to keep the card near to the window and try to shift the antenna in different directions.I am getting speeds of around
300-500kbps (still less ) I am trying different places to get higher speeds.
