Unhappy BSNL 750UL or BSNL EVDO?.......

Hi friends,
I'm using BSNL BroadBand (750 UL Plus) over an year.I'm not satisfy with my download speed(Around 30kbps).Recently I've came to know BSNL EVDO offers 2.4mbps speed, unlimited download just Rs.650/- per month.
Should i go for the BSNL EVDO? Can it give better speed than my existing plan?
PLEASE HELP!!!!

The speed won't be constant. It is much less in the reviews I read. It will be wise to check in your locality about the speed achievable. If you are particular about the speed, consider 500 C.

EVDO is a wireless connection and uses the CDMA Mobile network for delivering the services. Like any mobile networks the signal strength would vary from time to time. Further, the distance from the nearest tower would also affect the speed.
Its a system limitation. Don't think much can be done about it.

IMO 750 UL is better.
but if you are very much particular about speed go for 500C+.
EVDO has huge room for development.

At first I felt that UL 750 plan was better.
But now I feel EV-DO is a lot better than UL 750 because I am getting average speeds greater than double the speed that I would get in UL750(I am getting average speed of 70kBps for 24hours ).and the cost is lesser ie. Rs.650
But I have to mention that the speed is very much dependent on your location so first try it before taking the connection.

EVDO is preferred if u have laptop. ( Portability )

Home 500 is preferred for constant speed 1.5 M Bits / sec ( Avg for me )

U may not get this speed at EVDO

You wont have that much peace of mind with the Home500 if you are using it to download because it unlimited only at night whereas the EV-DO plan in unlimited all the time.
But the speed is definitely more in Home500 and also it is consistent.
Anyways we were comparing UL750 and Bsnl EV-DO here

U need to do confirm 1 thing
Go and ask your BSNL officer if there is EVDO BAse Station near by. if not,or if its there and your home is not in range of tower, u get only 144kbps which is even crap than current UL 750.
so do think twice else u will even loose peace of mind of UL 750
good luck.
