Would anyone be able to tell if they are issuing new connections on EVDO in Hyderabad ?

I am staying at ground floor of a 3 storied building surrounded by even more, I get 0 signal at 90 degree of the antenna and 4-5 bars at 45 degree at the same place. I have clipped the EVDO to my laptop screen top frame. Its all about finding good signal as it is applicable for any mobile service.

And by far my knowledge goes, I don't think any internet service provider except BSNL is untouched of the curse called FUP. If they specify it is unlimited then make it unlimited why cheat later on. Maximum number of users are unaware of FUP. In other words "no offense" but I don't think your ISP will let you download 10-15 LINUX DVDs each of more than 4GB and a hundreds of hours of youtube streaming each month. But mine does, I am happy. If I am paying then I am getting, you are paying and you even don't know that you are being cheated. Funny huh . For the record I had BSNL home 500 and I have downloaded terabytes of data. Who gives you more than 100GB of data usage without FUP in 500 ??????????????????????????????????????? TATA,Reliance,Airtel ??? ????????? name it;;;;;;;;;;; I didn't think so.

I bought a new Teracom EVDO 3.1 Mbps card from BSNL on Nov 02, 2011 and speed was very crap in daytime (10-12KBps) , worst than 2G (which gives me 15-20 KBps 24hrs a day) in my area (Raipur, CG). Speed at night, after 11pm goes around 30-70 KBps but that too doesnt happen every night.

May be it has to do with area, city etc because my cousin at different city (Bhilai) gets 70-100 KBps throughout the day.

Yesterday, after using it for 25 days, I applied for disconnection.
