Thread: Bsnl EVDO at Bangalore

I would like to know if Bsnl EVDO broadband connections are available at Bangalore and if anyone knows does it work at the Airforce station at Bangalore?

BSNL EV-DO connections are given in Bangalore.
When you say airforce station do you mean Yelahanka base?
If it is so then there is one BTS at the exchange near Yelhanka base .
I saw this in a report in The Hindu (The Hindu : Karnataka / Bangalore News : Wireless broadband for more cities, towns).

BTS stand for Base Transmission Stations and they are added to the existing CDMA towers and they provide good EV-DO coverage upto a range of 6Kms. radius.
Anyway was it Yelhanka base area only or not?

yes, i have my self used the service in Yelahanka ( near Air force station-Jakkur )
