Thread: Regarding BSNL EVDO

Hi guys,

I am going to buy BSNL EVDO card. I am having some doubts regarding it. Please clarify it for me.

1) An year ago my friend had a tata indicom photon + broadband modem. It was unlimited with monthly rental of Rs1500. Later after 6 months they removed the unlimited plan for his and gave him a 10GB Free every month plan. Is there a chance that the same will happen in BSNL EVDO Als because at present it is unlimited for Rs 550 per month. But later will they change the plan.Please help me guys i am buying it on monday.

2)what are the states in which evdo works(does it work in all the 4 southern states).


3)Finally i read a lot of reviews and it is 50-50 favor rating.What is your suggestion guys.Please help me.

At first from which satte are you do you have evdoi ebnabled tower on your locality? ?EVDO Now costs about 4000 if you are gone buy for rentel its cost come under 3500 i think and the thing you think is happen now but they dont changed the unlimted plan its is there it self but they changes the unlimted tariff to 999 from 550.They chandge this tariff for avoding bottleneck in data flows and they are upgrading the networkto EVDO REV 0 to Evdo REV A which will upgrade the data speed from currnt 2.4mbps to 3.1 mbps and the data will be stable.And ERVDO Is availbale in southern staes but you will enjoy the 2.4mb speed only on evdo enabled tower other wise the speed will be 1x 144kbps.pls mention your region then i can help you
