    Talking New 3G plans from BSNL

    New 3G Data Plans from BSNL....
    rs. 49 - 2.1gb*
    rs. 99 - 4.3gb*
    rs.199 - 5.0gb*
    rs.299 - 6.0gb*
    rs.499 - Unlimited (local)
    rs.649 - Unlimited (local+roaming)

    *Free usage (including night usage)

    The above plans are in todays local news paper.

    I live in Allahabad (U.P)....it was in todayz AMAR UJALA newz paper...i went to BSNL office to know more...they replied that it will b available in a week or so for public..!!

    will scan da paper cutting nd post it...!!!

    ^yes you are right,, even i am thinking of buying this plan..

    just read today's newspaper that its actually available in Uttarakhand also...

    i will than leave Idea 20/day plan.. it comes out to 600/month+recharge cost...

    with this, i will also can look into my usage for the day and limit myself..will block images maybe.

    and infact i am just into daily browsing and some vid calls, thats all!

    i am not into downloading stuffs. most of the times, i want just something like dialup for being online..

    WTH? Just 49 Rs for 2gb? People are paying 500 for 1.5Gb and 600 for 2.5GB
    in broadband.
    How its possible?

    It is really cheap. I am using home 500 plan which gives me 256Kbps speed and 2.5 GB of download/upload. It is too costly than these plans. But I checked BSNL's site and couldn't find these plans. If these plans are really there for Maharshtra circle then tell me. Thank you...

    I also cannot able to find them in BSNL`s website.
    They may update it within 2-3 Days.

    It has maximum speed over 3+ Mbps. The speed depends upon the network and the number of users using the internet from the same tower.

    But no one get speed over 2+ Mbps. If you even get 1.2+ Mbps. It is better then Broadband. It`s main drawback is it`s ping is very high, so you cannot play online games.

    Worst case will be when you are about 2 KM away from tower and getting speed only 25-30 KB/s.
    Average expected to be more than 80-100 KB/s.
