Thread: BSNL EVDO review from Kolkata

Yesterday I have purchased a Prepaid BSNL EVDO data card, made by Prithvi, Model – EVDO USB 3.1 Modem UE100 with CDMA SIM Card from BSNL T/Ex. Colour is black. Same day it was activated. Activation time was only fifteen minutes. My Prepaid BSNL EVDO data card plan is 750 unlimited.
I am from north Calcutta, location near Baranagar Municipality. My nearest CDMA EVDO tower is “Indian Statistical Institute” which is one and half kilometers from my house.
EVDO Signal is nice from my house (always three to four sticks). I use IDM for download and my download speed daytime 45 to 65 KB/sec and 110 to 238 KB/sec after 8 PM up to morning. I am very happy with this BSNL EVDO data card.
Recharge is very easy any BSNL easy recharge shop can do it because GSM and CDMA same Topup and recharge. Today I have try for online recharge from PayTm online and successfully recharge Topup fifty rupees. So after one month I shall recharge 750 Topup from any online recharge site.

I am using the same modem that you are using. I am also getting very very good speeds above 200 KBPS download speed throughout the day....Please post how you recharged online...

how much did it cost for the 1st month including total costs of modem and 750 plan??? i guess activation is free of cost if we buy card from bsnl right ????? or else if customer has own card 350rs activation.

The card costs 1199/- and 750 Unlimited plan for prepaid. That's it. No extra hidden charges. EVDO IS THE BEST.

750 UL plan is 830rs in first month recharge right ??? what is monthly recharge. rs 825 or rs830 ?

If you take prepaid connection then you will get unlimited for 750. All the taxes are included in this amount. But if you go for postpaid you will have to pay 750+taxes...i.e. 830...

A simple jpg picture less than 100KB would have been enough.
Not all are having U/l plan. In future mention the file size , so that members can decide whether to view Video/pictures or attachments.

If the video was for modem/router settings Port forwarding etc,
interested users will watch it. And a link can be quoted when the
question is raised.

Same result: I am not giving insert picture to save users 25 KB d/l !!

As posted earlier do not bother about Rep points.
Each new user when he/she gives at least one rep point, it is more
valuable than 28 points given by me ( one single person !). I get
Rep Point 0 also mostly. does not add to the tally !!but valuable

Thanks for info. All these days i thought its rs830 or 825 for prepaid and got confused.Now i came to know its rs750.
