In some areas only WLL phone service is available.
Like cellphone this is a fixed phone with an antenna set up in your location.
Where BSNL could not lay cables and for Remote villages.,
they have set up WLL towers/repeaters.
( LIke DTH television where cable TV not available )

Guys ,, joined the gang...... My download speed is 2-5 kbps... Any one have some s/w or settings to speed up my download......

Hi... Jus go to the nearest BSNL Office. Apply for WLL phone(Tarang) with internet. U will get it within 1 month.... Enjoy 230Kbps..... But downloading at hi-speed s not possible..... Bye..

I took B.S.N.L WLL 250 Net today....I getting good speed...

see ma signature for download & upload speed...ping is bad...

Can i keep my present plan and can i use this wll facility?

You can use Opera Mini to get fast browsing ,Check it uot on my blog

Plase any body can send me driver setup for WLL modem from huawei (BSNL), i haven't get driver cd from BSNL, first time it installed without driver cd and after formatting my system it is asking for the driver cd.

Always ask for Hantel WLL FWT while you are going for WLL 250Interet
connection.
The installation is very simple and it comes with the Installation CD.
There is a booklet as well with thorough description about installation.

The speed for WLL Internet is satisfying as per Rural Standard,where
BB connectivity is a little difficult.

I also have this problem and i also get out from this problem by doing what you do......I'm fed of this....it's soooooooooooo boring:yawn:........not only this my speeds are also not good:hammer:....it should have been more.....Do you also get bad speeds????

Is the switch of your modem on???that should be the only prob. i think...........see once there should be one black switch near the ports in the modem.............

The speed is not constant, and it depends on the signal strength in ur area. use an external antenna to get full signal strength.

When I read the title ques in main page, I thought it is dataone braodband 250/-pm UL but when i found that it is wireless mobile i got .

I am hoping for

250 kbps UL @ rs. <=500 (BSNL recently announced to cut price from 750 to 500 for 6 months for those who applied for 250kbps UL from 14 nov 2008 to 12 feb 2009)

512 kbps UL @ rs. <=900

784 kbps UL @ rs. <=1275-1300

1 mbps UL @ rs. <=1500-1600

in April, 2009.

The chance of above is 50-50 maybe more than 75% possibility.

If BSNL did not implement the above plan I will be like :52:

I will beat up the BSNL babus :13: in office to work fast to implement above.

I am also facing these problems with WLL phone. Connection gets disconnected many times. And at that times I cannot redial. A message comes saying that moderm is busy or not found. But in phone still displays 'Data Cal in Progress'. And the only solution is to unplug the usb cable ; plug it back and dial again.

Hello, I also have the same problem with BSNL WLL Huawei 1201 FWT device i.e I have installed the software which came along with the USB device but the connection gets disconnected after 5 to 10 minutes.If anybody found solution to the above problem please mail me at abdulmoiz786@gmail.com

I have bsnl cdma internet connection. it was working properly. but since last week i had problem of disconnecting from server. when i connect the server within 2 to 5 mins. i lost the connection therefore i can't work with internet facility. Plz. solve this problem.

Get in touch with the nearest bsnl office and verify that the nearest wll tower is working fine. Maybe they might be doing some unscheduled maintenance work. Are u getting the desired number of bars of signal in the phone?

Are u getting proper voice clarity? if not, surely its a signal problem.

i did not get the cd...vista did it by itself but xp needs a cd to install it...how to get it online???? i cant get from da provider....

Please state the modem/router/device for which u need the driver softwares for !!
