the cost of internet packs varies from state to state but at an average it will cost about Rs.95 for 3GB in DOCOMO.....u can use on various types of GSM/3G MODEMS available in market like Huawei E1550, Huawei E1750, Micromax 300, Micromax 310,,,,etc.......every telecom companies gprs packs are about to same that all costs about Rs.100 for 2GB or 3GB......check ur locality that which service provider have better speed then choose wisely.

    Thanks nkthesoulshaker.....

Now i got idea about the things u told.. so as u told if i brought any 3G modem, ( like Huawei E1550, Huawei E1750, Micromax 300, Micromax 310,,,,etc.....), Can i use my 2G simcard in that modem????? and which Modem is better and low in price as your knowledge??

i m a stock market trader. so i need consistent internet ( even very slow internet will work for me) for 6 hours a day. in that 6 hours i consume around 50 to 60 MB.

So as per my requirement, which modem u suggest me???? ( i m asking about modem in which i can use 2g sim). Or else, ring me on my mobile no +918867504475. i will take only 15 minuts. But it will help me a lot.......

i searched in websites... What this means locked and unlocked????
in ebay i got some modem prices.. but on those modems there is already written different service providers names (like aircel, idea, uninor)... so if i buy any one of the modems in those, can i put different simcard other than their own???????

"Locked" means that u can only use the SIM by which the MODEM is sponsored and "Unlocked" means that u can use any of the SIM on the MODEM......The modems on which the names(aircel, idea, bsnl, etc) are written are LOCKED and if u buy that there is a way to unlock them but i will prefer u to buy UNLOCKED modem coz don't take risk...buy HUAWEI E303C or HUAWEI E1750 available at flipkart.com
