Area wise feedback of EVDO network and performance in kolkata

Hey guys!
Since many of you use Bsnl Evdo in kolkata extensively, please post the area that you are using the connection in with the speed/ quality of browsing and downloading. It would help new users decide whether to buy or not. As based on the good reviews I bought EVDO and in kalikapur it just gives 1x network that too extremely slow speed, it is even unable to load even fb chat window!

Please post area wise speed as per your experience and please someone tell me how is the speed in Rajarhat near akankha mod?

Dude thanks for the info but I had already gone through it and couldn't find kalikapur in it neither could exactly locate akankha mod, rajarhat in those maps, that's why requested users to write down their speeds with specific locations!

wish i cud help.... but am from behala parnasree & i get.....

300kB/s during good times
150-200 during ok times
50-100 during sat/sun/holidays

btw, speeds weren't always like tat. it was 25-30 when i took the conn... after tat emails & followups got me here
