    Default My BSNL experience.

I'm a TATA Docomo 3g user, it took me like 30 minutes after visiting Docomo CSC to get my connection activated. But plans are very costly and there is nothing like unlimited plan. So I decided to get a EVDO connection. Now the pain of getting BSNL connection begins.

August 21st : I visited Lal Bhagh Road(Bangalore) BSNL CSC to get a DEMO of evdo. The guy in the EVDO section agreed to give demo and asked me to deposit Rs. 1200 with xerox copy of address proof.

August 24th : I'm back to BSNL office with application, address proof and amount. Now the story begins, today they don't have the demo available, so I'm asked to come again on monday.

August 28th : Again went to Lal Bagh Road office. Now this new surprise was waiting for me. The office itself is not there There is a banner saying, they have shifted to Sampangirama Nagar exchange.

August 29th : I'm at Sampangirama Nagar exchange. They are still setting up the office over there, so new connections aren't possible. Once again I have come on next monday. GREAT!!

Septempber 3rd : Today Went to Sampangirama Nagar exchange again. Now the office is fully setup "BUT" the stocks haven't arrived yet so I have to come again after 3 days or I have to go to BSNL head office in Palace Road, Near Vidhana Sauda.

I don't have any patience now so I went to their HEAD OFFICE. Here the EVDO section incharge called Jayaram, is not there in the office and nobody knows where he has gone. Waited 30 mins and finally he's back to his desk. Now he says, DEMO is not possible anymore. BSNL has officially cancelled all demo devices. W.T.F.???
Anyways, I agreed to get a new connection without having a DEMO. Now one more interesting thing he says, All devices he has are faulty so he has sent a guy with a letter to their stock keeper to send some EVDO devices to his office and I have to wait.
After 1 Hour : They guy who went to bring devices from their godown isn't back yet. And he sends another guy to look for him. LOL
After 30 Mins : Both the guys are not back! Its 5PM and they are going to close the office now. So again I have to come tomorrow!

This is my BSNL EVDO experience. I can see the lightning download speed!

I'll keep this thread updated with the latest happenings from their side.
