Thread: BSNL EVDO recharge

I had brought EVDO sim last month from Lucknow GPO. Speed is good and now the next recharge is due on 23-11-12. I have taken unlimited plan at the time of buying the SIM.
Now, I talked to customer care for next recharge and she told me to recharge with 825.I tried it with paytm and local retailer and it failed. Then I went to BSNL office from where I brought the sim. They tried 825 recharge and it is not successful. One person there told me to top up for balance. I had done top up and not total balance is Rs 1000. I want to know will this balance be deducted on 23-11 thus my plan getting renewed. I called customer care and told here the matter and she told that top up will not work. How do you guys recharge your BSNL EVDO card ? Also is there any EVDO prepaid user from Lucknow ?

750 Rs balance will be deducted automatically from your account next month

Guys, to increase validity - dial *789*2000# --> here *789* is mandatory - STV amount should be multiplied by 100 to convert into paise - I have taken Rs.20 and so code should be 2000 - add a hash and press "call". You will get a message that validity extended. Post this, use rechargeitnow or paytm for topup of 825 INR.

I have also faced the same problem. The only solution to your problem is to keep your account balance upto or above Rs 750/-, but the problem in your plan is you cannot activate unlimited plans such as plan 55, plan 250, plan 440. Which means your account is not an truely prepaid account. To solve this problem you can give an application for 'zero rental' to BSNL CSC of your area.
