Rep Power: 0  |  BSNL rolls out IPTV services in Kolkata with MYWAY KOLKATA: BSNL-Calcutta Telephones in partnership with Smart Digivision on Friday announced the roll out of IPTV services in Kolkata under the ‘MyWay’ brand. BSNL customers in the city will be able to access IPTV using their broadband, fixed-line connection and a set-top box. On offer are content (video, games, music and education) on demand and interactive style service. Due to its unique two-way interactive system, MyWay IPTV is planning to offer a bouquet of future services like personalized stock ticker, interactive viewing which allows viewing a show from different camera angles and accessing email, chat and travel and weather information. |

| "Noway" BSNL can do any thing with 'Myway' 'yourway' acctually the don't have 'Anyway' to get success in IPTV specially in Kolkata. Practically they still have lot of problem in Broadband like low SNR, frequent disconnection specially in monsoon also IPTV rate is so high than the local cable and DTH. If they want to get success in IPTV they have to give outstanding offer and service. |

Rep Power: 0 | Hi I have been a silent viewer of this forum for long and would like to share my experiences or questions from now on impressed by the content/knowledge of the forum. Here's my question. How long does it typically take for an IPTV to kick in after u subscrive via BSNL. I am currently living in Hyderabad. It seems they tied up with "myway" folks and its already more than 2 weeks that I ordered their 3 month trail pack. |

Rep Power: 9  | If the quality of service is good, IPTV could make a major headway at least in those parts of Kolkata which are covered under Conditional Access System (CAS) Cable TV. |
