    Default Disadvantages.

    1. Government organization so always have a poor customer service and service.
    2. If telephone line goes down then you are left with nothing.
    3. Not large user base so always a risk is involved.

I don't think that now a days telephone lines goes down that often and as of the government service then i would say that they do lack in this field but if you look at there service for phone service you would notice that it is really good.

Over the past 10 years with BSNL landline, the worst was when my home landline was down for a 2 and half months. There was a fly-over construction on the major road near my residence and those people badly damaged the cables. BSNL people said that they were unable to approach the site as there were too many equipment and machinery impending their work.

On some other couple of occasions the phone was down for some fifteen days - maybe a couple of times.

At all times, BSNL provided the credit for non-usage. Over the past two years, I see a definite improvement on BSNL customer service but there are many more bridges to be crossed.

BSNL is surely the one of the best and they have improved a lot but i think with this they also need to concerntrate on broadband customer care representative who are not that much technical as they should be..
