This is what the website has to say,
Calcutta Telephones giving a offer of Free trial for CDMA connection with IFWT set named as Aayudh as a Promotional plan up to 31.03.2009 on first cum first serve basis.
All existing as well as new Broadband customers will be entitled for this connection and no Activation charge, Security Deposit and charge for IFWT instrument will be levied.
The period from the date of activation to 30.04.2009 will be considered as Free Trial Period and without any rental . Only call charges will be levied as per general plan for the Postpaid CDMA connection.
The customer may opt for change of plan by applying to AO(TR) concerned by 15.04.2009 and connection after free trial would be disconnected if the customer does not apply for it’s continuation and the IFWT instrument will be recovered.


So
1. Its a FWT (fixed wireless terminal) set. not a mobile.
2. Only installation & rent is free. All calls are chargeable.
