Thread: does bsnl offer 5gb gprs for port-in customers via MNP for 1 month.

hi , bsnl have introducted promotional offers for port in customers under MNP , they are giving 5gb gprs free for 1 month.
this is a good news and i am planning to shift from aircel to bsnl via MNP.
There is a little bit confusion in it , is 5gb free internet GPRS OR HSDPA.
because gprs runs on 115kb and bsnl hsdpa is running on 7.2 mbps on many circles.
will they allow me to shift to bsnl 3g and give 5gb (3g hsdpa) internet for 1 month.

Yes my friend you are right. 5GB GPRS not HSDPA.
The above offer is applicable for a limited period with effect from 12.01.2011 up to 27.01.2011

ok has any one tried .............

haan yar maine try kiya he maine apna airtel se bsnl me prot karwana tha to port date 31 January this par meri sim 3 days baad active hui...or to or mere nokia 7230 se gprs k setting bhi set nahi ho rahi thi.. means to say that gprs active to tha bus i'm not able to download youtube or any things to download... bar bar link now available ka error aata he.. or ab to mera 9 days bhi over ho chuke he...... tum apni risk par bsnl me port karwana.. or haan bsnl me port karwane par aapke first recharge par 100 rs ka extra balance melega....

Is this offer available in kerala??
