    Default BSNL revises monthly charges for landline plans

    BSNL has revised its monthly charges for its landline services, for its urban and rural areas across India. Below are details of what BSNL has changed.

    Rural India Plan Change:

    The current plan for BSNL in the rural parts of India is Rs70 per month has been increased to Rs90 per month. This has been altered as the number of free calls to BSNL networks has been increased from 75 to 90.

    Economy Plan Change:

    Currently the existing plan is Rs300 and has been increased to Rs330 per month. The number of free calls remains the same which is 225.

    Special Plan Change:

    Current plan of Rs425 has been revised to Rs450 per month and again the number of free calls which is 400 remains the same.


    These plan changes will take affect from 1st October 2014.

    I knew this was coming. If BSNL is going to behave like a private sector company then it should be privatized and should not pretend to be a Government run company.
