BSNL Modems for sale which may be a deal for new subscribers.

I have a few months old UTStarcom Type 1 Modem by BSNL and is working great with awesome speeds. As I am going in for a new Type 2 Modem (Wireless), I need to sell it at a very low price @ Rs.600 only. Please check the picture. It is complete with CD-ROM, USB Cable, Ethernet Cable and Power Adapter. Please register/login and send me a personal message. I'm in Chandigarh, India.

can any body sell me his non working bsnl modem i am intersted.

airtel gives a new modem for just 500 bucks.

Many old models are available at lamington road just for Rs 100 / 200 each. Sometime even 50. Working no guarantee.

Well, I won't argue but Airtel Modems are known to die fast. I got this one for Rs. 1100 - 1200 along with the connection as a combined package and it is as good as new. Above all, "GAURANTEED" to work. :12: I can even give it for 500 as it doesn't matter much to me but I need to sell it fast so I can buy the 4 Port one.

perhaps any user who owned a modem can sell it, and perhaps the OP is one such as he never said he has more stocks of modems.

@SlasherPay, what prevents you purchase a new modem, as the old one can help you as an emergency unit, as even otherwise it is fetching you a meager 500/-

Friend, it is true that Rs. 500 is not an amount but I don't want this Lovely Modem to Rest in peace in a box or something after I buy a new one as usually we tend to forget things that we were using in the excitement of new ones, which is already working great. Simple!!! I am Cisco Telecommunications Engineer by Profession and most of the Routers and such devices are anyways at my quick disposal.. But I've a basic habit of never putting anything good to waste and I'll be able to put it to a good use here without having to go outside.. so I would still thank you for your concern...

I could have suggested active "HAMS" in Chennai ( about 1000 licensed ADV/Gr I/GradeII/Restricted in Chennai alone ) to him ! decided against it.

Let the "starting trouble" dsl 500T be over !!!

i got more hams ops to my knowledge then you do. i guess you got no clue what develpment and developers do. they dont restrict to just one option. thats what development is all about. let me remind you one thing,

having done deal that since ages and time again and again? i am not worries. and coming to it? it will take me and my team to change the concept in a few mins, HAM is just an option. we dont restrict to one option. you use cordless mouse? its uses 2.7 mhz freq, we can amplify it and use it.
so when it comes to 1000's of hams? heck, i can take the am ham exam myself and do it. but then again, its a waste of time, i will let mickey do the usual bickering over politics and et al. its his job not mine. and what made me say it, here is why?

Alright take it easy guys. I don't even know whats causing these flames but I only know about the fire extinguisher that I have and without trying to find out where the spark came in from lets put off this fire and move on.
