It all depends on what kind of RAM you would like to buy as DDR I ram is double the rate of DDR II RAM which is good in performance. But still if you are looking for DDR II RAM you can get 512 MB for some 599 rupees.

u can just see where slot is on ram ,i think on ddr1 it is off centre while in ddr2 it will be in center.and yes ddr1 costs almost double of ddr2. btw if u dont know which type then better to take from a local computer store near ur place.atleast they will chk and sell correct one

    thanks in advance,
It is not as simple as buying a strip of RAM and fitting it in your computer. You need to check which RAM is compatible with your MoBo. If you know your motherboard make and number, you can Google search it and know the proper RAM that goes with it. Else check with a computer supplier.

You can check RAM prices over eBay.
