Question Cable Broadband with MODEM !?

I saw some cable broadband services but they are with modems/routers, not like Alliance or any other Local Cable internet.

Please see this site : cable-modem.net/about/site_details.html

Is this available in INDIA ?

Can we get a Cable Broadband with modem ?

Most popular is COMCAST CABLE !, but I dont need that , I just want a Modem/router with cable .

    Can anyone suggest me ?

    It depends on your provider.

Most providers that don't use a simple ethernet cable to plug in will send a CO-AX cable which gets changed by a media convertor (usually a Scientific Atlanta device) which basically changes the cable from CO-AX to ethernet (I've seen this with Hathway in Mumbai).

Most of the time you can't buy cable modems on the market because frequently they provide a modem suitable to what equipment they are running - cable has a few different types of technology depending on the network, such as DOCSIS 2, DOCSIS 3 or something else altogether - the other thing is also that usually the cable modems are configured from the ISPs end, not the user end, and usually download all the settings and authentication stuff automatically.

On the other hand, DSL modems which are configurable in the software of the device, which means that you can buy them freely on the market and there is a wide array of devices/brands and features to choose from - also ADSL modems are compatible between standards: ADSL modem works on ADSL2+ network and vice versa: not always the case with cable.
