    Default iphone 3gs not detecting wifi in my room

    Please help me resolving this issue:

    Internet --> Cable Net
    Router --> Linksys E3000 wireless router
    Internet connection type --> Static IP
    Wireless Setup --> 2.4 GHz is enable while 5GHz is disabled.
    Network mode --> Mixed
    Channel width --> Auto (20 MHz or 40 MHz)
    Security mode --> WPA2 Personal
    Desktop --> Wire connection with router
    Laptop --> wireless connection with router

    Router configured in static ip mode with MAC address being cloned. Wifi network has been setup with password protected and security mode is WPA2.

    Internet is working fine in both desktop and laptop.

    But my iphone 3gs is not detecting the wifi network.

    Please help.

    Thanks essbebe for your reply.

    To answer your questions:

    1. Those IP address have automatically selected by router by default.

    Even though I set the IP address as instructed by you, iphone is not able to connect to wifi network. Actually it doesn't eben find the network while I tried to manually add SSID in iphone, it didn;t work.

    Please find the screenshots attached:

    1.jpg --> Router DHCIP IP address range
    2.jpg --> Preserved IP address for Laptop and iPhone. I have manually added iPhone's wifi mac address and assigned the IP address there, it didn;t work.

    However, I again reset the DHCP IP address back to previous combination.
    Please help.

    Finally I am able to solve this. I just reset network settings in iPhone.

    Settings -> general --> Reset --> Reset Network Settings

    iPhone got rebooted. Then I turned on wifi and it is able to see my home network. I provided the password and it was able to login.

    Thanks essbebe for your effort in resolving this. Really appreciate it.
