Below is a list and description of the 10 most expensive cars in the world! And these cars are wow!

Bugatti Veyron

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is at the top of the list and is worth $1,700,000 and this is not only the most expensive but also the most powerful and fastest car in the world, which has reached a speed of 400 km/h.
Bugatti is a car built by Volkswagen AG, but is sold under the name of Bugatti marque.
The Bugatti Veyron has a W16 engine, 16 cylinders in 4 banks of 4 cylinders and the engine produces from 1020 and 1040 metric hp. The Bugatti Veyron reached its full production in 2005.

Ferrari Enzo

The Enzo Ferrari which is also known as Ferrari Enzo and also F60 is at second place which is worth $1,000,000. This one is a 12 cylinder and is a car which is named after the founder of the company.
This is a car which was built in 2003, and the Formula One technology was used in order to build it. Other technologies have also been used which are not allowed in Formula One which include active aerodynamics. Tops speeds for the Enzo Ferrari have reached 301 km/h.

Pagani Zonda C12 F

The Zonda C12 F is at number 3 for the world’s most expensive car at a cost of $741,000. This car has the most extensive reengineering of the Pagani car every yet. The power of the car is increased to 602 PS (443 kW/594 hp), and the cars top speed reaches 374 km/h.

Koenigsegg CCX

Number 4 for the most expensive car is the Koenigsegg CCX which is at $600,910. The term CCX means Competition Coupe X.
The engine of the Koenigsegg CCX produces 806 hp.

Porsche Carrera GT

The Porsche Carrera GT is at number 5 for the worlds most expensive cars and is at a cost of $484,000. This is a Porsche manufactured car which means it’s a Germany car. It has a 5.7 litre V10 engine, which produces a horsepower of 450 kW. The maximum speed of the Porsche Carrera GT is 330 km/h, apparently the car can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.9 seconds.

Mercedes SLR McLaren

At number six is the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren which is at a cost of $455,500 and yes it’s a sports car! The car produces 466.8 kW at 6500rpm. Many people love this car not because it’s a Mercedes but because of its sleek looks!

Maybach 62

The Maybach 62 is number seven in the top 10 world’s most expensive cars at $385,250. The Maybach engine is a Mercedes sourced 5.5 litre twin turbo V12, which generates 550 hp.

Rolls-Royce Phantom

The Rolls Royce Phantom is a luxury saloon car at $320,000 and was launched in 2003. This Rolls Royce Phantom has a 6.8 litre, 48 valve, V12 engine that produces 453hp. This huge car weighs 2485kg, and it can get a speed of 60mph in 5.7 seconds.

Lamborghini Murcielago

The Lamborghini Murciélago is car introduced in 2002 and is at a cost of $320,000. It’s a two door car, and has a 6.5 L engine which produces 640 bhp.

Aston Martin Vanquish

Number 10 for the world’s most expensive cars is the Aston Martin V12 at a cost of $255,000. This is the car which was featured in the James Bond film Die Another Day and after this it got its fame! The Aston Martin V12 is a 5.9 L, 48 valve V12 engine which produces 343 kW.

1.> On Sept. 13, 2007, the Shelby SuperCars' Ultimate Aero became the fastest production car in the world. The event took place on a temporarily closed, two-lane stretch of public highway in Washington State. In accordance with Guinness World Records' strict policies, the car had to drive down the highway, turn around, and make a second pass in the opposite direction within one hour.

The Ultimate Aero posted 257.41 mph on the first pass and 254.88 mph on the second for an average of 256.18 mph. Official data were collected via a GPS tracking system from Austrian data acquisition company Dewetron. Guinness World Records later verified data for an official top-speed announcement on Oct. 9, 2007. At that speed the Ultimate Aero broke the official record held by the Koenigsegg CCR (242 mph) and the unofficial record (253 mph) held by Volkswagen's (VLKAY) $1.6 million Bugatti Veyron (BusinessWeek, 9/17/07).

And the car could go even faster. NASA's wind tunnel testing facility in Langley, Va., found the Ultimate Aero to be aerodynamically stable at speeds up to 273 mph. It just ran out of road. "If there was additional straight pavement on which to accelerate, the top speed would have been considerably higher, so if anyone challenges our record there is tons left on the table," says Chuck Bigelow, the brave soul who piloted the Ultimate Aero on its record-breaking run.

2.> In the bond flick the Aston Martin had been heavily modded and was named "Vanish" by MI6 engineer "Q".

#9 Lamborgini Murcielago is my favourite supercar.

I drive mine on the weekends mostly.

If I feel need for a bit more speed I take my fxx out for a spin.

These are expensive so I don't drive them daily. My daily
driver is a lowly Diablo.

was drooling over the listings given at Motorcars of Las Vegas, NV Dealer Used Cars - Home. sigh....

i really like some of the classics they still have in mint condition, like the Dodge Charger and the Thunderbird convertible!

and btw, the inside of the engine bay of the SSC Aero looks like alien technology, literally like the inside of an UFO!

let me share something with u guys. about a week ago i saw a car near my college. it looked like a chev camaro ss with the long hood space and all. the car even had a modded hood. but the name of the car was HM (Hindustan motors), the company behind ambassadors. they are also the current distributor for Lancer Evo and cedia cars. Anyway, at the back and side of the car, where car name is written, GT90 was written.
Can anybody tell me what car it was ? With the HM logo it looked like a vintage car but it had the looks of a muscle car.
