We have always cursed the bumpy rides in the Indian roads. Now is the time to rejoice for having bumpy roads because a team of undergraduates in MIT have developed a system which absorbs the shocks induced by the bumps and uses these shocks to generate energy which will be utilized by the vehicle. The generated energy can be used for running the electrical components or for recharging the battery. An overall increase of 10% has been noted in the fuel efficiency when installed with this system.
