Chevorlet Beat was introduced in India in January, 2010. Priced between Rs 3.34 and Rs 3.94 lakhs, it is claimed to have the most powerful engine in its category of cars with world class safety features. It has an S-Tec II engine with port deactivation technology, dual overhead cam and EGR. It also has reduced emissions and a refined driveline noise with reduced vibration.

Available in three variants, PS version, LS version and fully loaded LT variant, Chevorlet beat has a dual front grille design with the twin barrel designed front headlamps for enhanced lighting and style. The car can also be driven in poor light and weather conditions with the help of chrome rimed fog lamps that give increased illumination.

The recessed door handles on the back doors gives the beat a unique, sporty appearance of a two-door car while having the ease of use of the four doors. The crisp lines and dramatic wheel arches together with the rising belt line and a swept roofline gives the beat a muscularly macho side profile. The 14" striking alloy wheels increases the aesthetic value of the car and add to the mileage because of their light weight. It is claimed to have a mileage of about 18.6 kilo meters per liter.

The integrated rear spoiler design makes the car more stable while driving at higher speeds and improves aerodynamic performance. The stylish tail lamps integrated at the corners have Twin barrel design and poly carbonate outer lenses.
