Thread: Acessories from showroom or any where else?

When do you prefer to buy accessories for your car. Do you prefer to buy them from showroom/company or do you prefer to buy it from some where else. As of me i like to get them from local market rather then from company as they charge a lot more money for the same products which you can get for real cheap prices out side.

Do which one do you prefer?

I would like to get my accessories fitted from outside as they are much cheaper. Like a thing which costs around 5,000 with company with cost some 2,500 from outside shops. So it is always better to go with local shops.

When i purchased car i bought music system from company but all other things like seat covers and other stuff i got it from outside as they were offering this for ver high price.

I would like to get accessories from local market as they are cheap and also some people know me there so if i have any problem afterward it would not be a big problem to me..

Except service i dont purchase any thing else from company. Like they are really costly. I can get the same thing for half the price from somewhere else with warranty as compared to the price offered by these companies.

Depends upon the accessory - I would rather buy the company made (official) fog lights but I will not hesitate to buy seat covers, keyless entry, mp3 player, etc. from the local market. Actually the car makers are quite clever and will bundle most accessories with an upper trim and leave the lower trim quite poor with some good features. For example, I would like to buy a Toyota Innova with electrical mirrors. But this feature is available in Model V only. The other models have mirrors that need to be adjusted by hand - not even internally adjustible via a joystick.

I would not like to buy anything from Company showroom as it would be really very much expensive rather i would like to buy the same accessories from some where else as company charge a lot for the same accessores which are avaiable a lot more cheap outside.

Getting acessories from some where else would be of the best thing other then showroom as they are expensive and spending more on the same thing does not make any sense when you can get the same thing at cheaper price from some where else.
